The Manuscript Literary Magazine

I designed the 2021-2022 edition of Moravian University’s literary magazine The Manuscript, which features poetry, short stories, personal essays, and artwork from the Moravian community. As the magazine’s club President, I first discussed ideas with my team, and we liked the concept of representing creativity as a source of hope and comfort during a time of fear and uncertainty, so I illustrated a chameleon bringing vibrant color as he crawls out of the darkness. I matched the display type to the bright, whimsical atmosphere and kept the body type simple and clear.
